The life of an old-time cutter? Well, it wasn’t always long but it could be just long enough to benefit generations. Floyd McCoy is a fine example. He cut around central Indiana until injured by a limestone slab in 1959. And while he finally succumbed to his wounds, it wasn’t before starting a fine legacy of his own, by grandfathering one of the founders of Cutters Brewing Co.
Our salute is a Scotch Ale worthy of his Name. Floyd’s Folly pours a nice amber color with a light tan head and boasts of full-roasted malt and caramel flavors. One taste and you’ll be thanking of Floyd, too.
